Pranayaraja Srinath production has given an admirable film and the layers it focuses in the film, selection of artists like Pragathi, Adwiti of course Dr Srinath is so apt.

Dr Srinath and Geetha Srinath contemplating on giving a meaningful film to Kannada cinema industry and that have come true. Although the promise of Dr Srinath direction is pending, this one by some of the superb films director PH Vishwanath has made right pick. Touching upon the social evils has been forte of director Vishwanath. It continues in this ‘Suli’. The aspect of humanity and danger of destruction focused with fine spell.

How a middle class family gets knocked down by a strange incident is startling explanation. The terrorism has reached the village cautions director Vishwanath. Who is in danger, the repercussions of it, the dash against destiny, the innocent human being targeted… The concept of this film takes a credit first.

The cynosure of all is Budan Saab (Dr Srinath). He moves the goods on the donkeys back. He is a man with humanity to others. His eldest daughter Shabana (Pragathi) is dumb. Others cannot get married till Shabana gets a pair. The announcement of Azam ready to marry Shabana brings lot of pleasure in the family, however it does not continue for long.

Via Azam the opportunist terrorists use the innocent people and enter the village. How the upheavals are dealt in further reels is interesting to watch.

It is a cool and sincere effort from Dr Srinath. Kannada cinema industry has got three good faces from this film – one is Pragathi and other two are twins Adviti and Ashwiti. All the three are commendable and have great future ahead.  The role of Channakesha as Matadayya is appreciable.

Cameraman Manjunath has done a superb job in camera holding nature exquisite beauty in his lenses.

‘Suli’ has a few ‘Ola Suli’ – you can definitely watch this film with family. It is a caution of danger creeping in villages.
